| Jackie
Chiodo began her yoga practice in 1995 as a method
of physical healing after a neck injury from a
car accident. Her practice evolved into a mental
and emotional release in 1998 when she was in
a high stress job as a Financial Advisor. Her
experience with yoga began as a physical activity
to recover from pain. Over time it has evolved
into a union of her physical, mental and emotional
well-being. The result over the last 10 years
is a more joyful state of existence which has
led to an amazing journey of transformation on
every level.
Jackie combines principals of
traditional Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa flow, precise
alignment and breath awareness. She incorporates
Ayurvedic concepts into her teachings, providing
a custom-fit yoga program for each individual.
Jackie has a degree from Rutgers
University in Religious Studies, where she spent
3 years studying Eastern Spirituality, with a
focus on the history of Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda.
She also has 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification
from Satsang Yoga in New York. Jackie has been
teaching for over 5 years and recently moved to
SW Florida from New Jersey, where she taught at
yoga studios, gyms and for corporations.
