Jackie
Chiodo began her yoga practice in 1995 as
a method of physical healing after a neck
injury from a car accident. Her practice
evolved into a mental and emotional release
in 1998 when she was in a high stress job
as a Financial Advisor.

Tess
Chiodo has been a student of yoga since
1973, and became certified to teach in 1994.
Like her daughter Jackie, Tess believes
there is no "one size fits all"
approach to yoga and she combines many styles
of teaching to match her students' needs.

Tanya began
her yoga practice a year ago after moving
into the Fort Myers area. She was looking
to replace her long loved hobbie of surfing,
which is not possible to maintain in Florida.
Tanya was also looking to establish a stronger
mind and body to control the years of back
pain she has endured.

Chelsea
Greenwald is an extended member of the Joyful
Yoga family, currently practicing and teaching
in Michigan. Another daughter of Tess
and sister of Jackie, Chelsea began teaching
yoga in 1996 after practicing on and off
for many years.

Originally
from Philadelphia, PA Kent began his interest
in yoga while attending college. Since then,
he has always been drawn toward both the
spiritual and the physical aspects of yoga.

Emily was
first introduced to yoga as a child. It
wasn’t until after the birth of her
daughter in 2003, however, that her yoga
practice became a fundamental way of life
for Emily, helping her to overcome many
personal struggles including panic disorder.

Tanya
is a certified Integrated Hatha Yoga Teacher.
She began a regular Yoga practice in 1996
as a method of healing a back injury. From
that first experience on the mat, her love
of Yoga was born.

Jennifer
began her yoga practice while in college,
which initiated a path of study that has
also included many forms of healing, and
cultural exploration. Her great passion
is to delve into the mystery of human consciousness
and the great potential locked in each and
every being.

Susan
Marcy attended her first yoga class in 1994
to combat the stress and anxiety of law
school. Since that time she has continued
her journey into Yoga by studying in Michigan,
Massachusetts, and Florida where yoga has
been a compass to help her navigate finishing
her degree, manage a busy career, and experience
the joys of pregnancy, parenting and life.
