Moving into March
As I write I am sitting on Bonita Beach feeling so techno-savvy with my computer on my lap. (I was so resistant to this little computer machine and now that I have begun to learn the ins and outs and the language and nuances, I can’t imagine being without it.!) I’m enjoying the planning of the inevitable Spring cleaning that I am about to embark upon (or as Jackie says…."de-jamming") I’ve already begun with my body (colon) as I am in my 24th day of my Colonix colon cleanse. (Too much info for many of you, I am sure) If all proceeds as before, I will be at least 5 lbs. lighter with a flatter belly. If you are at all intrigued or curious, check out www.drnatura.com. View with an open mind and if you have any questions talk to Jackie. We just got a new shipment in and they are flying off the shelves. Not only do you save $10 and shipping costs but also you get instant gratification without having to wait for it to arrive from California!
Next on the list in clearing the clutter is the accumulation of “stuff” that must go... As you release the possessions that no longer serve and please you, it makes room for new energy and desires to flow into your experience. Start with one drawer or closet and when you are through revel in the accomplishment and creativity.
We are happily anticipating our Ayurveda 101 Workshop in Sunday the 19th of this month presented by Maureen Shortt, MA ( This will be my fourth time in attendance and I am certain I will enjoy it as much as the first and something new will resonate within me.) If you would like to learn more about this ancient healing art please sign up as soon as possible( at class or by phone ) as space is limited. The workshop will begin at 12:30 with a brief Joyful Yoga Flow and proceed with some of the most interesting and fascinating information about this ancient science. The day will include an Ayurvedic lunch. The response has been so good that we will be having Maureen present twice a year. So if you can’t make it this time we will be repeating it in the late fall.
Our new Joyful Yoga T-Shirts are in and they are super cute. Short sleeved, contrasting raglan style, in assorted sorbet colors. They are super soft and comfy with the Joyful Yoga logo front and center. We also have our new deluxe line of Yoga wear by So Be (Also seen @ Nordstrom and other fancy locations) The fit is fabulous and they are very durable and comfortable. Check them out at the Studio in Ft. Myers.
Speaking of the Ft Myers studio, we are very excited about the changes coming in July. We will be renovating, reconfiguring, and redesigning the space. It will include a dedicated yoga retail boutique up front with a big expansion of clothing, props, and assorted accoutrement de yoga. New classes will be added including Mommy& Me Joyful Yoga (for Moms and/or Dads and baby), additional prenatal, DoshaYoga classes (specific to the three constitutional body types) Full-on-Joyful Yoga (including chanting, kundalini and pranayama), and Pilates. We hope to include a relaxing lounging space in the back where you can have a cup of tea or just unwind before or after class. Stay tuned for more exciting news on the Bonita Springs location….we are manifesting it up good!
We have had such a positive response to the Teacher training that we will be offering another in May.
We are very happy and excited about our new teachers and locations on the horizon. We will be expanding into Cape Coral and Naples in the near future. If you are interested in expanding your practice or joining our Joyful Yoga Team contact our go-to girl: Jackie. We like to keep these classes under 10 and we already have a list so sign up ASAP.
In appreciation, gratitude and joy,
Namaste'
