Julia's love of beauty
and all things connected to the industry
developed at an early age, when she realised
that her face was a blank canvas for trying
products and applying wild and exotic
make-up applications.
In the early 1970's, Julia attended the
prestigious "Innoxa School of Beauty
Culture and Beauty Therapy" in London.
There she studied Skin Care and Beauty
Therapy. Anatomy and Physiology, Massage,
Reiki, Reflexology, Electrolysis, Facials,
High Frequency and Galvanic, Product and
their Ingredients, TV & Stage Make-Up,
Waxing, Body Treatments, Tinting, Manicures
& Pedicures were among the many modalities
that Julia received certification in.
As the years passed, times changed and
treatments became more advanced. Julia
has recieved certification in Microdermabrasion,
Peels, Lymphatic Drainage, Nail Extensions
and Semi- Permanant Eyelash Extensions.
In 1999 Julia recieved certification
from the Cancer Society as part of their
"Look Good - Feel Good" program,
to help their clients adjust to changes
in their bodies, hair and make-up applications
and in helping them relax and become comfortable
with their bodies as a form of overall
well-being while still having treatments.
As a way of bringing beauty to those who
cannot make a trip to the "Spa"
due to illnesses, Julia has worked in
hospitals, nursing homes, and private
homes.
Twenty years ago Jula's passion became
Facials and Body Treatments, incorporating
organic, herbal and natural products and
holistic and healing treatments as much
as possible into her clients skin care
regime.
