Why
Yoga?
Yoga is a holistic approach for reducing stress
and introducing a sense of balance in one's work
and personal life.
Yoga is proven to be one of the most effective
methods of relieving stress while relaxing both
the mind and body. Yoga enables its students to
better manage stress through self calming techniques
and physical exercise for the body.
Corporate
Yoga will benefit you and your staff through stress
reduction. Practicing yoga balances the essential
systems in your body including the nervous system,
which causes a release of tension.
Financial
Impact
The financial impact that work related stress
has on business today is on the rise. Job-related
stress has cost American businesses over $250
billion dollars a year. These costs can come in
the form of high staff turnover rates, increase
in sick time absence, reduced work performance
and poor time management. By law it is an employers
duty to make sure that employees are not becoming
sick as a result of their work; and stress can
make employees sick.
The major
challenge that is facing employers today is how
to keep employees motivated and happy with their
work environment. With employees spending more
than half of their lives on the job, corporate
coordinated wellness programs are on the rise
and becoming essential to a productive workplace.
